The Black Bear Package Deal:
At $1095.
US per hunter in double occupancy. Single hunter $1195. US;
bow hunters add $200. US to above package.
Includes:
Six nights stay, five days of hunting, from permanent, extremely
sturdy, very comfortable, noiseless tree-stands, that neatly
conceal the hunter for the perfect shot. One master guide
for every two hunters, transportation to and from hunting
grounds, all meals (prepared by gourmet chefs) from the
night of arrival to the morning of departure, preparation
of skin and meat in quarters. On our website you will find a lot of interesting things not only about hunting but also about fishing. We try our best for you and write a lot.
Two Bear Limit: At
Motel Restigouche Outfitters, it is possible to bag two
bears, one in Quйbec and one in New Brunswick. Package is
same as above except 6 days of hunting and licenses are
included. Price per hunter $1895.US + 15% tax
Not included
in the bear package deal: 15% tax, liquor, license, (except
for the two bear limit) tips to guide and waitresses. License
cost: about $90.00 US (no tag required).
We hunt
the evenings only, leaving the lodge at about 3:00 p.m.
with your guide, and returning around 10:00 p.m. Supper
is served as soon as hunters return from the field.
Black Bear
have Bionic Hearing . . . and we are not kidding!
If you want a big bear like in the photos shown here,
noise and scent must be kept to a strict minimum, especially
for bow hunters who will shoot their black prowler at
less than twenty yards. Multiple Fleece layers are by
far the best choice of clothing.
The
Bear Hunting season opens May 15th and closes at the end
of June. Bear
hunters can add to their package the option of Atlantic
Salmon Fishing in the mornings, or full days once their
trophy is bagged, at the cost of $130.00 U.S. in May and
$180.00 U.S. in June for two hunters. Rates include guide
with 26 foot motorized canoe and access pass to the Matapйdia
and the Restigouche.
Deposit:
To officially confirm a reservation, a deposit of half the
cost of the trip is required when the reservation is made.
The balance is due on your arrival at the Lodge. Reservations
can be made on short notice when space is available with
a credit card (Visa & Mastercard). Deposit is not refunded
in the event of a cancellation by the client.
